AHS Update on Enhanced Public Health Measures
Jan 13 - Update
Curling is suspended until further notice. We are adhereing to the Government's restrictions. We are monitoring the situations closely. An email was sent to the members. If you did not see it, please review your junk mail. If you don't seem to have it, ask a teammate.
Curling Alberta has updated their information based on the GOA release this week. As of Dec 13th, all clubs will be closed for 4 weeks. That means that the earliest we can open is January 11th
Again thank you for your patience.
To update all of our members, it was released by Curling Alberta today that we (Westridge Curling Club and all clubs in enhanced areas) will officially close until at least Dec 15th, as all sports must be postponed up to and including Dec 15. The WCC Board (or Curling Alberta) will then decide how to move forward. There are a few options that we will discuss.
We will keep you informed as much as we can.

Nov 25 - Update
After the release from the Province of Alberta on November 24, Curling Alberta is in talks with the officials to determine how this affects all the clubs in Alberta. Once we receive guidance from Curling Alberta, we will update all of our WCC members. Thank you for your patience.
Nov 12 - Update
In response to today’s AHS announcement,(Nov.12) curling in the affected areas, which includes Calgary and area, Edmonton and area, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Red Deer and Lethbridge will be shut down at midnight tonight. These enhanced measures will be in effect from November 13-November 27.
Curlers residing in the enhanced areas are asked not to travel for the purposes of training and competitions, this includes bonspiels.

- Beaumont - Devon - Edmonton - Evansburg* - Fort Saskatchewan - Gibbons -
- Leduc - Leduc County - Morinville - Parkland County - St. Albert - Spruce Grove -
- Stony Plain - Strathcona County - Thorsby* - Surround villages and business
- *Enhanced measures do not apply to these communities at this time
