Who we are:
Westridge Curling Club is a family oriented, community minded 4 sheet curling facility located in Stony Plain. We provide service to the residents of Stony Plain and the surrounding area of Parkland County.
We are a non-profit organization run by a member directed Board of Directors with numerous member volunteers helping with operation, maintenance, and instructional programs. We have a variety of leagues including Men’s, Ladies, Mixed, Open, Afternoon Ladies, and Juniors.
Our facility was built in 1958, however has had numerous improvements over the years including the expansion of our building which increased our upstairs viewing area and lounge and added a locker room downstairs.
Westridge Curling Club’s objective:
- To provide an excellent well maintained facility and ice surface.
- To attract and maintain membership through participation in the sport of curling at a affordable and reasonable price for all ages.
- To develop the sport in our community by providing curling programs for all ages and skill levels.
- To promote healthy living, build self-esteem, good sportsmanship, a magnetic social atmosphere, skills development and competitive opportunities for the enjoyment of all members
